Wide range of appraisal work with the majority being FORM style reports for financing, litigation, and estate purposes.

Research Assistant

The Position

Full time Research Assistant that will provide key support to one of our busiest IC&I appraisers. To be successful in this role you will need excellent investigative, analytical, and interpersonal skills. You will also have a general knowledge of the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas, and have a keen eye for detail. The ability to speak an additional language is a definite asset.

Typical duties include:

• Market research
• Preparation of reports
• Invoicing
• Updating comparables database
• Data entry

The successful candidate will have:

• Grade 12 graduation, supplemented by post secondary education. Courses in real estate, written communication, analysis and critical thinking are considered an asset.
• A strong interest in research and data entry.
• Excellent computer skills - position includes daily online research and use of Microsoft Office.
• Written communication skills - ability to proof read reports, letters, etc.
• First-rate oral communication skills - effective communication with clients is essential.
